Poughkeepsie man charged with drug possession in LaGrange

LaGrange, New York – On August 3, 2016, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Anthony M. Okie, age 23, of Poughkeepsie, New York, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation.

Troopers stopped a vehicle traveling on Noxon Road for a license plate violation.  An investigation revealed that a passenger in the vehicle, identified as Okie, unlawfully possessed Hydrocodone and marihuana.

Okie was issued appearance tickets directing him to appear in the Town of LaGrange Justice Court on September 20, 2016.
