OFFICERS REVIVE VICTIM OF HEROIN OVERDOSE
On July 24th at 8:19 pm, Officers Austin Nichols and Dennis Mullaney responded to a reported heroin overdose at a residence on Arrowhead Rd in Hopewell Jct. Upon arriving they located the victim, a 29 year old female. The victim was unconscious and barely breathing. They administered a dose of Narcan, an anti-opioid medication. The woman shortly became semi-conscious and was treated by the East Fishkill Rescue Squad and Mobile Life Emergency Medical Services and transported to a Poughkeepsie Hospital for treatment.
