State Police in Catskill Conduct Underage Drinking Initiative

The New York State Police at Catskill conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative on Friday, July 15, 2016. Store employees were solicited by a subject under 21 years of age who attempted to purchase an alcoholic beverage.
Jo Ann Rodriquez, employed at Slater’s Smart Shop, SR-32, Cairo, was arrested after selling an alcoholic beverage to an underage subject. She was charged with the misdemeanor unlawfully dealing with a child in the first degree and a violation of the Alcohol Beverage Control Act section 665-1 for prohibited sale. She was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Cairo Court on July 19, 2016 at 6:00 PM.
