House cleaner arrested for stealing cash from residence.

PRESS RELEASE

07/14/16 – The New York State Police, Highland BCI announce the arrest of 48 year old Lorrie Lent, of Marlboro, NY, for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree (a class D felony) and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (a class A misdemeanor).

On 07/13/16, the New York State Police – Highland BCI concluded an investigation into the theft of over $3,000 in cash from a Town of Plattekill residence. Lorrie Lent, a house cleaner for the victim, was caught on video recording taking cash from an envelope in the victim’s bedroom. Lent then damaged the surveillance equipment which captured her actions during the theft.

On 07/13/16, Lent was arraigned before Judge Kraiza in the Town of Marlborough Court and subsequently released on her own recognizance. Lent is set to return to Plattekill Town Court on 07/15/16 at 5:00pm.
