Poughkeepsie – Christopher Thomas Howley, age 61, passed away suddenly on July 10, 2016. Chris is the beloved son of Katrina Howley of Poughkeepsie, New York and the late Theodore Howley Sr.
Chris is brother to Ted T. Howley, Jr. (Della), Queensbury, NY.; Bonnie Howley (Bruce Williams) Farmington MO.; John T. Howley (Claudia) Fort Worth, TX.; Henry T. Howley, Sarasota, FL.; and Marcia Mondello, Marlboro, NY.
Chris is beloved father to Tiffany Ann, Ryan and Cale and will be missed by his grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews friends and family.
Chris was born in Poughkeepsie, NY., on July 14, 1954 where he lived for most of his life. He worked at Wassaic State School.
He enjoyed family time, fishing, bicycling, cooking antiques, was an avid reader and loved all animals.
Chris greeted everyone with his contagious smile and gave the best hugs! Chris was loved by many and will be intensely missed.
Calling hours will be Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 5pm to 7pm at 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
There will be a graveside service 9am Saturday July 16, 2016 at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601.
