New Lebanon Troopers arrest driver for DWI

State Police in New Lebanon arrested 20 year old William R. Brower of Troy for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Possession of Alcohol Person Under 21 and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the fourth degree on Tuesday night.  Troopers stopped the vehicle Brower was driving for an equipment violation and he showed signs of alcohol intoxication.  Brower failed sobriety tests and was taken into custody.  A bottle of alcohol and a pair of brass knuckles were located inside his vehicle.  Brower was processed at SP New Lebanon barracks where his blood alcohol content was found to be .13%.  He was issued tickets and released to a third party.  Brower is scheduled to appear in the Town of New Lebanon Court at a later date.
