Rhinebeck woman arrested for endangering

the welfare of an eleven year old child

Rhinebeck, New York – On May 31, 2016, the New York State Police in Rhinebeck arrested 31-year-old Erica Preciado, of Rhinebeck, New York, for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Preciado is accused of holding the metal portion of a hot lightbulb to the skin of an 11-year-old child causing a 2nd degree burn on his arm.

The State Police were assisted by the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center.

The defendant was released on an appearance ticket directing her to appear in the Town of Rhinebeck Court on June 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
