Traffic Stop leads to Ecstasy Arrest

PRESS RELEASE

05/16/16 – The New York State Police in Haverstraw announce the arrest of 44 year old Peter Milshtein, New City N.Y. for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree (a class A felony).

On 05/15/16, Troopers from the New York State Police in Haverstraw conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on Central Avenue in the Town of Clarkstown. The operator of the vehicle, Peter Milshtein, was driving with a suspended license and a subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of marijuana, xanax, and a large quantity of ecstasy.  Milshtein was arrested for Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the First Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation.  

Milshtein was arraigned on 05/15/16 in the Town of Clarkstown Court and remanded to Rockland County Jail without bail.
