State Police in New Lebanon arrest Schodack man for DWI following crash investigation

Kinderhook, New York – On May 14, 2016, New York State Police from the New Lebanon barracks arrested 21-year-old Jacob Peters, of Schodack Landing, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched by Columbia County 911 to the area of Hudson Street and Maiden Lane in the Village of Kinderhook for a reported two-car auto collision.  An investigation revealed that Peters was traveling westbound on Hudson Street when he struck an unoccupied vehicle, parked on the side of the roadway.  Peters was found to be intoxicated at the time of the crash and was not injured.

Peters provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .15% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Village of Kinderhook Court on May 16, 2016.
