Middletown Troopers Make Nine Arrests During Prostitution Sting

On May 4, 2016, State Police in Middletown conducted an anti-prostitution detail in the Town of Wallkill. The following men were arrested after they made contact with a female undercover state trooper and requested she perform a sex act in exchange for money: Luis F. Ruedas-Cruz, age 22, of Spring Valley; Jhon D. Ortega-Guaman, age 33, of Middletown; Adolph A. Pantore, age 56, of Bloomingburg; Drew A. Kartiganer, age 58, of Newburgh; Jermaine D. Barnaby, age 32, of Middletown; Travis Contreras, age 23, of Middletown; Jofre A. Angamarca, age 24, of Middletown; Caleb R. Elizando, age 20; of Middletown; and Keith Ferguson, age 50, of Port Jervis. All were charged with one count of patronizing a prostitute in the third degree. Ferguson was additionally charged with resisting arrest. All were issued Appearance Tickets to appear in Town of Wallkill Court on Tuesday, May 17th, at 2:00 PM and released.
