Town of Montgomery man arrested for Burglary of a residence’s attached garage in the Town of Shawangunk.

On April 12, 2016, The New York State Police, Highland BCI, announce the arrest of 28 year old, Ricky A. Armbruster, of Montgomery, NY, for Burglary in the Second Degree (a class C felony).
On April 3, 2016, The New York State Police, Highland BCI, initiated an investigation into a report of a burglary in the Town of Shawangunk, wherein unknown person/s entered an attached garage of an occupied residence and proceeded to steal a dirt bike belonging to an acquaintance of the homeowner. Investigation led authorities to Ricky A. Armbruster who was found to have stolen the dirt bike and then disposed of it prior to his arrest.
Armbruster was arraigned before Judge Voss in the Town of Shawangunk Court on April 12, 2016 and was subsequently returned to Ulster County Jail where he was being held without bail for unrelated charges.
