State Police in Cortlandt arrest two high school students for the theft and use of stolen debit card

Cortlandt, New York – On March 30, 2016, the New York State Police at Cortlandt arrested two 17-year-old Henry Hudson High School students following a lengthy investigation into the theft and use of a stolen debit card.

On March 7, 2016, the two students stole a debit card from a victim at the school and proceeded to make purchases at multiple establishments in the Town of Cortlandt and in the City of Peekskill.

Both defendants were issued appearance tickets for one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree, a Class E Felony and are due to appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on April 4, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.

One defendant was additionally charged with the same crime and issued an appearance ticket returnable in the City of Peekskill Court on April 7, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.
