Millerton – Catherine Louise Juchem, 74, a longtime Millerton resident died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at her home in Millerton with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Juchem was a self-employed certified home care provider for Taconic DDSO for over 30 years at her home in Millerton.
Born November 27, 1940 in Rhinebeck, NY, she was the daughter of the late Millard and Margaret (Bowen) Millius. Catherine attended Roeliff Jansen High School. On October 16, 2008 in Millerton, NY, she married Keith Juchem. Mr. Juchem survives at home. In her spare time Catherine enjoyed gardening and crocheting and making latch hook rugs. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Unger of Millerton, NY and Ninette L. Vassello and her husband John of Sugar Notch, PA; two brothers, Robert Millius and his wife Patricia of Millerton and Frederick Millius and his wife Kathi of Red Hook, NY; four granddaughters, Jennifer Phillips and her husband William, Jr. of Salt Point, NY, Nicole Beland of Georgia, Kaylea Austin of Pennsylvania and Melanie Yu of New Jersey; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Catherine was predeceased by her brother Millard Millius, Jr.
