Matthew Calvin Capalbo, 56, a life-long resident of Poughquag, NY passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, surrounded by his loving family.
Son of Roland G. and Mary E. (Woodin) Capalbo, he was born in Poughkeepsie December 29, 1959, and attended and graduated from Arlington High School in 1979.
Predeceased by his mother Mary, who passed away September 8, 2007, Matt is survived by his father, Roland, of Poughquag; his sister Melissa Trawick and husband Glenn of Poughquag; brothers Brian and wife Esther of Bayfield, CO, Mitchell and wife Mary of Lothaire, MT, Michael and wife Tina of Circleville, NY, Roland G III and wife Valerie of Beacon, NY, and Phillip and wife Pimi of Poughquag; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to thank the many people that took the time to stop and wave to Matt in the living room window over the last 10 years.
Funeral arrangements are private under the direction of the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling.
