Cub Scout Pack 29 is hosting a Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner at the Wassaic Firehouse on March 12 from 4-7pm. $10 a plate. Eat in or Take out. Plus there will be a bake sale – so bring some cash for dessert!

Lawn Mowing Bids being accepted until March 17th at NOON
Legal Notice has been posted in the Millerton News. The Town of Amenia is now accepting bids for Lawn Mowing in the Amenia/Wassaic Area. Season is April 1, 2016 to November 1, 2016. All bids must be received by noon on Thursday, March 17, 2016. Specifications may be picked up at the Town Clerk’s office Monday through Thursday from 9am to 3pm, 4988 Route 22, Amenia, NY 12501.
Town Board Workshop Meeting was held March 3rd
There was a Town Board Workshop Meeting on Thursday, March 3 at 7:00pm at the Town Hall. Silo Ridge made a presentation on easements, Morris Associates Heating System Bid specifications, the Welsh Sanitation contract and the Bulfamonte Proposal were discussed. The Parking Module by SEI discussion was tabled.
Emergency Response Committee Meeting was held March 3rd
There was a meeting of the Emergency Response Committee on Thursday, March 5th at 5pm. The distribution of the updated emergency operations plan was scheduled.
Special Town Board Meeting was held March 1st
There was a special Town Board Meeting on Tuesday, March 1 at 6:30pm at the Town Hall. An executive Session was scheduled to discuss Mobile Life Ambulance Service Contract

Grant Award – Amenia’s Theater Arts Program
Arts Mid-Hudson has awarded the town dance program a project grant of $1,400.

“Operation of a Food Concession Stand at Beekman Park, Rt. 44, Town of Amenia, New York, from April 9, 2016 through November 5, 2016.”

Interested parties assume all responsibility to acquire proposal information and forms. Rights are reserved to reject any or all proposals.
To be considered, proposals must be delivered in writing, in duplicate, in a sealed opaque envelope marked, “Operation of a Food Concession Stand at Beekman Park ball field in the Town of Amenia from April 9, 2016 through November 5, 2016,” to the Town Clerk, Town of Amenia Town Hall, 4988 Route 22, Amenia, New York 12501, no later than 12:00 p.m. on March 17, 2016.
