Obituary, Phillip L. Price

 

Phillip L. Price, 73, passed away at his home in Pawling on Friday, March 4, 2016.

Born on June 2, 1942 in the Bronx, he was the son of the late Phillip H. Price and Mildred Sonnemann, and husband of the former Diane Hursch, who survives at home.

Before moving to Pawling, he and his family resided in Putnam Valley.   Phillip worked 30 years as a customer service engineer for IBM, mainly in the Bronx, retiring 24 years ago.

Phillip loved his grandchildren, and was an avid NY Yankees fan.

In addition to his wife, Diane, he is survived by his son, Phillip J. Price of Pawling; three daughters, Christine (John) Baxter of Poughquag, Patricia Price of Carmel, and Joanne (Greg) Kraisky of Pawling; his brother, Paul J. (Marie) Price of Patterson; and his beloved grandchildren, John, Hanna, and Shannon Baxter and Taylor Kraisky.

Family and friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, March 7th at 11 AM at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Route 22, Pawling.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
