THE BLOOD DRIVE LAST WEEK WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL! OUR GOAL WAS 44 PINTS – WE COLLECTED 46!!! Fifty one people signed up to donated. The Senior Honor Society would like to thank everyone who participated – and please consider donating during our second blood drive in May.
2. Youth for Diversity’s Black History Month Fact of the Day is: Julius Winfield (Dr. J) Erving, former basketball player, born in Roosevelt, NY, on February 22, 1950. Also on this day DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince win the first rap Grammy for the hit single “Parents Just Don’t Understand.”
3. Lost and Found items will be outside of the high school dining hall during lunches this week. Items that aren’t picked up will be donated.
4. Attention all high school Photography Club members – There will be a meeting after school Thursday from 2-3:15 pm. We will be working on still life images. Bring a camera.
5. SAT Word of the Day: BEHEMOTH – The word means something of tremendous power or size.
6. There will be a Scrub Club meeting on Wednesday after school in Ms. Murray’s room. We will have a guest speaker.

8. Are you interested in getting some community service? Students are needed to help with the Homework Club at Dover Elementary. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Cleaveland.
9. FACS Club will meet after school today in Mrs. Elliott’s.
10. Weight Room with Ms. O has come to an end! All high school students who want to work out after school need to see Mr. Lorenz. The days are changing so see him.
11. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS – Buy you Yearbook today. There are only 50 copies left! They are $75, see Ms. Wool or a Yearbook Club member for information.
12. Cosplay Club – Tomorrow is Game Day. Please bring your devices and plan on staying until 5 pm.
