State Police arrest Bronx woman for Grand Larceny

PRESS RELEASE

On Thursday February 18th, 2016, The New York State Police at Monroe arrested Latasha Moody, age 42, from Bronx, NY for Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, a class D felony, Falsifying Business Records 1st and  Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the 1st degree which are both class E felony’s.

The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by The New York State Department of Labor which revealed that Moody received Unemployment Insurance monies in the amount of $4,968.25 to which she was not entitled by filing false statements with respect to her employment.

Moody was arraigned in the Village of Florida Court before Hon. Justice Shuback who released MAYNARD on her own recognizance. Moody has a future court appearance in the Town of Woodbury Court.
