Edward Anthony Martin, 66, a 29-year resident of Pawling, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.
Born in Manhattan on November 26, 1949, he was the son of the late Anthony and Catherine (Casey) Martin. Ed served in the US Army in Vietnam, and married Theresa Dacey on May 17, 1980 at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs in Manhattan.
Ed worked in security for Metro North Railroad out of North White Plains, NY.
He loved fishing, football and fixing up his classic El Camino car.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa; two daughters, Katie and Kristen Martin; brother, Peter Martin; and sister, Kathy Martin.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, February 21st from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 22nd at 10 AM at St. John’s Church, 39 East Main Street, Pawling. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
