Wassaic man arrested for Grand Larceny

Dover Plains, New York – On February 12, 2016, the New York State Police at SP Dover Plains arrested 34-year-old Christopher M. Frenyea-White of Wassaic, New York, for Grand Larceny 3rd, a Class D Felony.

In January 2016, the state police commenced an investigation into numerous suspicious withdrawals from a deceased person’s checking account at the M&T Bank located in Amenia, New York.  The investigation determined that during 2015, Frenyea-White made  several purchases  and cash withdrawals from the Dover branch ATM in excess of $3000 from his deceased mother’s account.

Frenyea-White was arraigned in the Town of Dover Court before Hon. R. Wren Abrams and released to the supervision of the Dutchess County Probation.
