Rye man arrested for Aggravated DWI following crash investigation

East Fishkill, New York – On January 31, 2016, New York State Police from the Stormville barracks arrested James M. Viola, 26 years old, of Rye, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
Troopers conducted an accident investigation on the Taconic State Parkway. The driver of the vehicle, Viola, had exited the roadway and struck a guide rail. Further investigation revealed that he was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
Viola provided a breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .19% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of East Fishkill Court on February 10, 2016.
