LaGrange, New York – On January 27, 2016, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested 25-year-old Louis Fusilli of Pleasant Valley, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to investigate the report of a wrong-way driver traveling on the Taconic State Parkway by State Route 44.  Troopers checked the parkway from Pleasant Valley into the Town of LaGrange and located a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle’s description issued by 911.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as Fusilli, was found to be intoxicated. Further investigation revealed that Fusilli had been operating the Nissan Sentra traveling southbound in the northbound lanes.

Fusilli supplied a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of 19%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.

The defendant was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of LaGrange Justice Court on February 2, 2016.
