ENCORE PERFORMANCES FROM THE
GREAT STAGES OF THE WORLD!
MILLERTON, NY—The Moviehouse in Millerton announces a new Arts programming initiative – THEATER A.M.! The Moviehouse will showcase encore screenings of their popular Arts programming at 10:00 a.m. on select Saturdays throughout the year.
The first THEATER A.M. screening is scheduled for Saturday, February 13 at 10:00 a.m.and features an encore screening of National Theater Live’s wildly popular 2015 production of HAMLET, starring Benedict Cumberbatch from London’s Garrick Theatre.
A second THEATER A.M. screening will take place on Saturday, February 20, and will feature Kenneth Branagh Theatre’s THE WINTER’S TALE by William Shakespeare. The production stars Dame Judi Dench as Paulina and is directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh, who also plays Leontes in the play.
To introduce the new series The Moviehouse will be providing complimentary morning coffee and pastries to guests for both February screenings.
THEATER A.M. is perfect for those who work late, those who prefer not to drive at night, student groups, seniors and anyone who would like to relax and enjoy a great performance on a Saturday morning and follow up with lunch at one of Millerton’s great eateries.
Tickets are a lot less expensive than Broadway too – at $18 for Members and $21 for Non-Members. Tickets are available for purchase online and at The Moviehouse Box Office. Group rates are also available.
