Millbrook – Richard A. Pletzer, aka Ricky, The Gentle Giant and The Cat died on Saturday, January 23, 2016. He was known as the man with broad shoulders that carried the world on them. The one who so many times gave the shirt off his back to help those he knew and those he did not.
Ricky was a loving husband and soulmate. He was also a loving son, brother, nephew, brother-in-law, step-father, godfather and Daddy to his four children in fur coats. When you look into the sky at night the brightest star is Ricky shinning as bright in heaven as he did on earth.
The family invites everyone to join them in celebrating Ricky’s life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Mid County Rod and Gun Club, 650 Waterbury Hill Road, Lagrange, NY. All are welcome to share stories and memories. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Ave, Hyde Park, NY 12538
