On Monday, January 25, 2016, The New York State Police at Catskill responded to a domestic dispute at a private residence in Country Estates in the Town of Greenville. Upon arriving at the residence, patrols discovered two occupants of the home, a 61 year old male and an 84 year old female, both with several stab wounds. It was determined that the other occupant of the residence had stabbed both victims multiple times before he fled in a vehicle. A notice was put out to surrounding areas describing the perpetrator and the vehicle. Shortly thereafter, Albany County Sheriff’s Deputies observed the vehicle travelling on Tracey Rd. in the Town of Coeymans. Upon attempting to stop the vehicle, it drove off the roadway and crashed into some trees and an embankment. The operator was taken into custody without further incident.  The victims were transported to Columbia Memorial Hospital where they were treated for multiple stab wounds to their heads and hands.  As a result of the investigation, State Police arrested DYLAN BUFFE, age 21, of Greenville, N.Y. for Attempted Murder 2nd (2 counts) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th. He was arraigned before T/J Schreiber, Town of Greenville Court and was committed to the Greene County Jail in lieu of one million dollars bail.
