Coxsackie woman arrested for stealing from local employer

PRESS RELEASE

On 1/22/16 the New York State Police at Catskill arrested LYDIA PURDY, age 19 from Coxsackie, NY, for three counts of Falsifying Business Records (an E Felony), three counts of Petit Larceny (an A Misdemeanor), and one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th degree (an A Misdemeanor).
The New York State Police at Catskill received a complaint from a local business in the Village of Coxsackie regarding an employee, LYDIA PURDY,  creating false transactions and stealing the property from the business. PURDY was located and processed at the State Police Barracks at Catskill and released with an appearance ticket to return to the Town of Coxsackie Court on 2/1/16 at 4:00 PM.
