Connecticut man arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated following crash investigation

Lewisboro, New York – On January 12, 2016, New York State Police from the Somers barracks arrested 45-year-old Corey J. Cordell, of Ridgefield, Connecticut, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to the intersection of State Routes 138 and 121 in Lewisboro for a reported one-car collision.  An investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, identified as Cordell, was found to be intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Cordell provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .33%, more than four times the legal limit of intoxication.

Cordell was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Lewisboro Court on January 18, 2016 at 8:00 p.m.
