PRESS RELEASE
On 12/27/15, The New York State Police at Catskill and the Village of Coxsackie Police Department report the arrest of DANIEL M. FANELLI, age 41, from Coxsackie, NY, for Burglary in the 2nd Degree, a class C felony, Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, a class A misdemeanor, Resisting Arrest, a class A misdemeanor, Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree, a class A misdemeanor and 2 counts of Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a violation.
New York State Police and the Village of Coxsackie Police Department responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the Village of Coxsackie. FANELLI was found in a crawl space attic of an apartment building and refused to exit the building when confronted by occupants. FANELLI refused to leave the premises and did assault the occupants prior to police arrival. Responding patrols located FANELLI at the residence and he did physically struggle with patrols in an effort to resist arrest.

FANELLI was arraigned in the Town of Catskill Town Court before Hon. Rick Jacobs who remanded FANELLI to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 secured bond. To re-appear in the Town of Coxsackie Town Court on 01/04/16 at 4:00 p.m.
