Troop K joins forces with the United States Marine Corps to spread holiday cheer to those in need

Major Robin H. Benziger, members, and administrative staff from Troop K are proud to announce that 619 toys were collected for the annual United States Marine Corps Toys-for-Tots campaign.

With the assistance of local businesses, residents, and State Police employees, area children will experience the joy that the holiday season brings.

Major Benziger stated “I am very inspired by the enthusiasm demonstrated by the community in supporting this year’s Toys for Tots campaign.  We are grateful for the unprecedented amount of gifts we collected, which is the most we have ever received. Certainly the spirit of the holiday season is with us.  Troop K would also like to extend a special thank you, to all of the volunteers who coordinated this effort.  We appreciate the valuable relationship that has been formed with the community as well.”
