Obituary: Stacy Alexandra Zelnick

 

Clinton Corners – Stacy Alexandra Zelnick, 45, of Clinton Corners, passed away suddenly in an accident which occurred on Tuesday, November 24th, 2015 at her home. Born on August 19, 1970, in Hollywood, FL, she was the daughter of Irene (Levitt) Zelnick and Stephen Zelnick of New York City and Clinton Corners, NY. In addition to her mother and father, she is survived by a daughter; Jade Walker of Millbrook, NY and an uncle, Edward Zelnick, MD, of Hollywood, FL. Raised in New York City, Stacy was a graduate of St. Ann’s School in Brooklyn, NY and attended Bard College in Annandale on Hudson, NY. She was beautiful, graceful, athletic, artistic, musical, an outstanding writer of fiction and poetry and very smart. She was vivacious and had a great sense of humor and was quick to laugh. She was great company and was always there for her friends. Her presence could light up a room. Stacy was also an avid horse lover and an amazing and accomplished equestrian. She was manager and head horse trainer of Willowbrook Riding Stables in Clinton Corners. Stacy will be sorely missed, especially by her daughter to whom she was devoted and by her parents who were devoted to her.

Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes, Red Hook on Saturday, November 28th, 2015 from 12 pm to 1 pm. Service of Remembrance will begin at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Rhinebeck Cemetery, Rhinebeck, NY.
