Angelo Lombardozzi, 88, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at New York State Veterans Home at Montrose, Cortlandt, NY.
Moving to Pawling from Florida in 2013, Angelo was born in NYC on July 12, 1927 to Joseph and Conchetta (Pasani) Lombardozzi. Angelo was a paper hanger and painter in the family’s business, J. Lombardozzi & Sons in Scarsdale, NY. He served in the US Navy in 1945-46, and was married to the late Esther Latino who passed away in March 2008.
Angelo loved cooking and photography, and flying model airplanes.
He is survived by his two sons, Douglas (Tara) of Pawling and Joseph (Patti) also of Pawling; his daughter Barbara Lombardozzi of Wappingers Falls; and five grandchildren, Kyle, Sean, Michael, and Matthew Lombardozzi, and Rachel Jordan.
A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 10 AM in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia Society or to Breast Cancer Research.
