Kathi Rae Barger
Pleasant Valley – Kathleen (Kathi) Rae Barger of Pleasant Valley, NY died February 10, 2015 to join her beloved Thomas (Tommy) S. Barger, Sr., who passed May 8, 2002. Born to the late Avis and Raymond Benedict in Mahopac, New York, September 19th, 1947 , Kathi spent the whole of her life in the Hudson Valley. She is survived by her sister, Margie Mill of Dover, NY, son Thomas (Tom) S. Barger, Jr (Tina Hogan), T. Colin and Rory Barger of Seattle, WA, son John R. Barger of Verbank, NY, and many nieces and nephews including Edward Collins of Holmes, NY.
Kathi will be remembered for her love of nature, her talents for embroidery and crafts, cross wording and being the first to answer Jeopardy questions. Private services will be held by the family.
