Carmel Schoolhouse News

Dear Parents and Friends:

Don’t wait…our opinion poll will close on Wednesday, November 18, 2015Please take a few moments to answer four questions to express your thoughts, hopes and ideas about the Carmel Central School District.  Your responses will help as we begin to develop a strategic plan which will serve as the blueprint for change and a framework for decision making for the future.

We invite you to apply for one of the Strategic Planning Committees. In particular, please consider the Core Planning committee, which will meet for an entire day on Friday, January 22 and again for most of the day on Saturday, January 23.  This committee will help develop consensus elements of our Strategic Plan based in part upon the feedback we received from the Carmel Café sessions (which took place on November 3).  The committee will also recommend the Strategic Plan and plans of action to the Superintendent and Board of Education. Applications will be accepted until December 9, 2015 (new date).
