Pleasant Valley man arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

PRESS RELEASE

Pleasant Valley, New York – On November 3, 2015, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Michael Werner, 24 years old, of Pleasant Valley, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to conduct a welfare check on an unresponsive subject in a vehicle.  Subsequent to an investigation conducted by the State Police, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, was found to be intoxicated.

Werner provided a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .24%, three times the legal limit of intoxication.  He was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the  Town of Pleasant Valley court on November 10, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.
