Saugerties Man Arrested for Forgery and Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent Person

PRESS RELEASE

On October 9, 2015 the New York State Police – Bureau of Criminal Investigation SP Kingston arrested BRANDON S. SCHOONMAKER age 33 of Saugerties, NY for Endangering an Incompetent Person, Forgery in the Second degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth degree.

The New York State Police in Kingston, NY received a complaint from the ARC of Ulster/Greene Counties regarding an employee misusing resident PEX credit cards. NYSP investigation revealed SCHOONMAKER was using multiple client residence PEX cards for personal use dating back to August 27, 2015 to September 29, 2015. SCHOONMAKER was charged with two counts of Endangering an Incompetent Person (E-Felony), one count of Petit Larceny (A-Misdemeanor), 3 counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth degree (D-Felony) and three counts of Forgery in the Second degree(D-Felony).

BRANDON S. SCHOONMAKER was arraigned in Town of Ulster Justice Court. He was released on his own recognizance and scheduled to appear in the Town of Ulster Court on October 14, 2015.
