Pawling man arrested in car break- ins

 

BEDFORD, N.Y. – Bedford police have charged William M. Tyson, 26, of Pawling with vehicle break-ins that took place between Sept. 19 and Sept. 24 in Bedford Hills and Katonah.

Tyson, 26,  was charged with two counts of grand larceny, 1 count of petit larceny, and criminal mischief. He was arraigned and transported to the Westchester County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail.

Also arrested was William E. Paoli, 23, of the Bronx who was charged with two counts of grand larceny after surrendering at the Bedford Police Department on Oct. 7. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.

The investigation was assisted by the Westchester County Police Department and the Dutchess County Sheriff Department. Both men are suspected in similar incidents in Westchester and Dutchess counties.
