SPIRIT WEEK IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! Get ready to show your spirit! Tuesday, October 13th is Color Wars – Seniors wear Black, Juniors wear White, Sophomores wear Orange and Freshman wear Blue. Wednesday, October 14th is Show Your Patriotism and wear Red, White, and Blue. Thursday, October 15th is Pajama Day – please dress appropriately and Friday is Spirit Day – Wear your Orange and Black

Pep Rally game sign ups are with class advisors or officers. Sign up to represent your class.

1. Today is an “A” Day.

2. If you are interested in participating in Boo Bash please see Ms. Mangar.

3. All middle school students are invited to attend our October Golf Clinic. See Mr. Horn for details.

4. Dover Elementary is looking for Mural Painters for community service. Please see Ms. Swift for details.

5. There will be an open gym for all boys interested in playing JV or Varsity Basketball today at 5:30 pm in the high school gym.

6. A representative from the following schools will be visiting today: Today Bard College will be in the guidance office at 11 am. Please stop by the guidance office to set up an appointment or if you have any questions!

7. The deadline to register for the PSAT is this Thursday, October 8th. The cost of the test is $15. Stop by the guidance office with any questions.

8. Middle school Chess Club tomorrow in Mrs. Kaan’s room after school in room 1095.

9. Get your Homecoming t-shirts!!! That’s right they are here! Show your Dragon Pride by purchasing a t-shirt for $15 during lunches or see Ms. Krieger! GO BIG OR GO HOME!!!!!!

10. Come dance the night away on October 17th from 7-10 pm at the Homecoming Dance. Homecoming tickets go on sale Wednesday, October 7th. Tickets are $5 now, $7 at the door. All guest forms are due on October 13th!!! Guest forms can be found in the main office.

11. SAT Word of the Day is PLAINTIFF. The word means petitioner (in court of law).

12. The deadline to register for the November SAT test is Friday, October 9th. If you have any questions, please see the guidance office.

13. The next high school Yearbook meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 13th from 2-3:30 pm in Ms. Wool’s room.

14. Fall sports pictures will be taken on Thursday, October 8th. Bring your uniform!

15. Dover Chorus! All fundraising money and left over candy is due Tuesday, October 13! If you have any candy left over before this Thursday that you will not sell PLEASE BRING IT IN ON THURSDAY so someone else can sell it!

16. All seniors interested in working on your Common Application, signup in the guidance office for today, October 7th for either 5th or 6th period.

17. Junior and Senior Girls! Sign up for Powder Puff Football! Sign ups are outside Ms.Fisher’s room, the game will be October 17th at 9 am! Be there or be square!

18. The next Photography Club meeting will be on October 14th after school in Ms. Wool’s room. Remember to upload your school spirit photographs.
