Wappinger, New York – On October 1, 2015, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Deana Perillo, 44 years old, of Fishkill, New York, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, an Unclassified Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to investigate a two-car property damage auto collision that occurred at the intersection of Route 9 and Myers Corners Road.  An investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by 18-year-old Maria G. Damelia of Fishkill, New York, was traveling northbound on Route 9.  Damelia was slowing for the traffic signal at the intersection before she was rear-ended by a northbound vehicle operated by 44-year-old Deana Perillo, of Fishkill, NY.

While police interviewed Perillo, they observed clues that indicated she was impaired by drugs.

Perillo and Damelia were both transported to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Perillo was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear before the Town of Wappinger Court on November 11, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.
