State Police at Liberty Make Arrest in Thefts of Jewelry

PRESS RELEASE
On September 24, 2015 State Police at Liberty arrested Eugene Nietzel, age 41 of White Sulphur Springs, NY after it was determined that he had been stealing jewelry from a home in the Town of Liberty for the past several months. The value of the stolen jewelry was determined to be in excess of $1000.
Nietzel was charged with Grand Larceny 4th Degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th Degree, felonies. He was arraigned in the Village of Monticello Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail with no bail set.
