Beekman – Teresa A. Wallace, 61, of Hopewell Junction, went home to her Heavenly Father on Friday, September 11, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.

She was born to Patrick and Helen Blake on July 30, 1954 in New York City. Teresa worked as an assistant school teacher at the Crayon Box in the Bronx for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction where she also worked in the rectory. She loved music, dancing and Elvis.

Teresa was our joy and lit up a room when entering. She will be greatly missed but Heaven has gained a new angel.

Teresa is survived by her brother Kevin Blake and Loretta Callahan of Wappingers Falls; her sisters, Nora Pauley and her husband Michael of Suffern and Patty Anne Case and her husband Tim of Cold Spring; her niece Moria Balseca and her husband Anthony; her great niece Aislyn Balseca; and her great nephew Ryan Balseca.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 10am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., Hopewell Junction.
