08/27/2015 – The New York State Police – Highland BCI announce the arrest of 22 year old, Diamante Frazier, of the City of Middletown, NY, for the felonies of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree and Fourth Degree (class B and class C respectively) and for the felony of Tampering with Physical Evidence in the First Degree (a class E felony). Gabrielle Baisi, age 26, of Poughkeepsie, NY, was also arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (a class A Misdemeanor).

The arrests of Frazier and Baisi were subsequent to an investigation by the New York State Police – SP Highland BCI, stemming from a vehicle and traffic stop conducted in the Town of Lloyd, in which both subjects were occupants.  Frazier ran from the traffic stop and attempted to destroy a significant amount of heroin that he possessed.  Baisi was found to possess a small quantity of heroin. The investigation and additional charges are pending.

Baisi was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Lloyd Court and Frazier was arraigned before Judge Elia, in the Town of Lloyd Court and was subsequently remanded to Ulster County Jail on $5,000 cash / $10,000 bond.  Frazier is scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Lloyd Court on 09/01/15.
