Dover man arrested for burglarizing Dover residence

Dover, New York – On August 26, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Dover barracks arrested Fredrick H. Bishop, 23 years old, of Dover, New York, for Burglary 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony.

On August 24, 2015, Troopers were dispatched to a Dover residence to investigate the report of a residential burglary.  Subsequent to an investigation conducted by the State Police, it was discovered that Bishop had entered the victim’s home and stole US Currency.

Bishop was arraigned before the Town of Dover Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail on $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.  He is scheduled to re-appear before the Town of Dover Court at a later date.
