Liberty man arrested for identity theft and grand larceny in Southeast

PRESS RELEASE

Southeast, New York – July 10, 2018, the New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested Samuel J. Sicoli, age 49, of Liberty, NY, for Identity Theft in the 1stdegree, and Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree, both D felonies.

On June 7, 2018, Investigators in SP Brewster received a complaint of a possible larceny from corporate bank accounts totaling in the amount of $7,300.  Investigation found Sicoli used false identification to access and steal the money from the Keybank accounts.

Sicoli was arraigned before the town Southeast Court, and remanded to the Putnam County without bail.  Sicoli is next scheduled to appear before the Court on July 16, 2018, at 4:00 p.m.
