Obituary, Lisa Ann O’Halloran

 

Lisa Ann O’Halloran, of Sherman, CT, died peacefully with her husband by her side on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, after a valiant battle against Leiomyosarcoma (LMS), rare soft tissue cancer. She was 53 years old. Born July 1, 1964, in Fort Campbell, KY, daughter of the late James Oldham and Joan (Bolen) Oldham, of Clarksville, TN.

Lisa married the love of her life Thomas J. O’Halloran on December 28, 1991.Together they moved from Tennessee to Connecticut in 1998. Mrs. O’Halloran was a Corporate Flight attendant with Interlaken Capital Aviation Service for almost 5 years. Prior to being a Corporate Flight attendant, she worked for the Litchfield County Times in sales and marketing. She received her degree from Miller-­-Motte College.

Lisa was a Southern Belle. She lit up the room with her positive outlook on life, an amazing sense of humor, and everyone looked to her for inspiration. She enjoyed decorating, entertaining, spending summers on the lake, and traveling the world through her career. Her greatest passion was her family—her children were her everything.

Mrs. O’Halloran is not only survived by her husband Thomas and Mother Joan but also her two daughters; Whitney Rasor and Alexandra O’Halloran, as well as her siblings Susan, Terry, Linda, and Scott. Lisa touched so many people’s lives in a positive way and will be immensely missed by her extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be held at 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT, on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, from 4 pm -­- 8 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at 10 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Sherman, CT.
