WASHINGTON STATE — Heartfelt messages and condolences are flooding social media following a “horrific” two-vehicle crash that claimed at least two lives on Wednesday night.
The fatal collision occurred near the 13600 block of SE Auburn Black Diamond Road, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO). Authorities confirmed that both vehicles caught fire, resulting in the deaths of at least two people.
Few details have been released about the events leading up to the crash. KCSO’s Major Accident Response and Reconstruction Detectives are conducting a full investigation to determine the circumstances and contributing factors.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will be responsible for officially identifying the victims and establishing the exact cause of death.
