Man Wanted in D.C. Accused of Threatening Austintown Casino Employee

AUSTINTOWN, OH – A man with active warrants out of Washington, D.C., is facing new allegations after police say he threatened an employee at the Hollywood Gaming Casino early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. when Al-Faud Mohommid approached a casino employee at the Sportsbook window. According to a police report, Mohommid claimed that someone in Sportsbook caused him to lose $15,000 on a horse race. He alleged that a horse he was betting on had been withdrawn from the race but ultimately ran and won.

Police say Mohommid told the employee he and his family had ties to organized crime and claimed that former President Donald Trump was his godfather. He then allegedly threatened to shoot the employee over the lost wager.

Escorted Out, Then Pursued by Police

Casino security escorted Mohommid off the property following the confrontation. Not long after, police attempted to stop a vehicle believed to belong to him in connection with an unrelated traffic matter.

Instead of pulling over, Mohommid allegedly led officers on a vehicle pursuit. During the chase, police say he pointed the barrel of what appeared to be a hunting rifle out the driver’s side window.

The officer eventually ended the pursuit, at which point Mohommid reportedly withdrew the rifle back inside the vehicle.
