Teen and Woman Injured in Northeast D.C. Stabbing; Suspect in Custody

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A Tuesday morning stabbing in Northeast D.C. left one teenager and one woman injured, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Police said the incident occurred around 9:12 a.m. in the 1400 block of Montana Avenue. Responding officers found both victims suffering from stab wounds.


Victim Conditions

Authorities reported that the adult woman was found unconscious and not breathing at the scene. The teenager was in and out of consciousness when first responders arrived.

The woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment. MPD did not immediately release updated conditions for either victim.


Possible Domestic Connection

Investigators believe the attack stemmed from a domestic situation. One suspect has been arrested, though police have not yet identified the individual or released further details about their connection to the victims.


Ongoing Investigation

MPD confirmed the case remains under active investigation and is urging anyone with additional information to come forward.
