An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with a shocking daytime murder outside a CVS pharmacy in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Police identified the suspect as Christian Okubo from Temple Hills.

The deadly shooting occurred Friday morning near the CVS located on Allentown Road in Camp Springs. The victim, 23-year-old Anthony Bullock, was shot and killed following a brief interaction caught on surveillance video.

The video footage obtained by News4 clearly shows two men greeting each other with a handshake on the sidewalk near the store’s entrance. Within moments, one man reaches into his backpack, retrieves a handgun, and starts firing at Bullock.

Bullock collapses to the ground immediately outside the pharmacy’s main entrance. The shooter then stands over him, firing additional rounds. Afterward, the suspect picks up his backpack and flees toward Allentown Road.

Emergency Response and Witness Accounts

Police responded rapidly, arriving at the scene around 10 a.m. Despite their quick reaction, Bullock succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

A witness at the location recounted the distressing moments following the shooting, stating, “The guy was barely breathing, and by the time EMS got here, he was gone.” The witness rushed to assist Bullock after hearing the gunshots.

Surveillance video further revealed several bystanders standing alarmingly close to the violent incident, underscoring the reckless nature of the attack and the potential risk to additional victims.

Witnesses told reporters the shooter fled the scene on a bicycle, emphasizing the brazen and rapid escape in broad daylight.
