SILVER SPRING, Md. — The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) has identified the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred late Thursday night in Silver Spring as 31-year-old Emmanuel Bisudu Sesay. Authorities confirmed Sesay’s death following a violent incident on Lockwood Drive that is now the focus of an active homicide investigation.


Police Respond to Late-Night Emergency Call

According to MCPD, the incident took place on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at approximately 10:28 p.m., when officers from the 3rd District and personnel from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a stabbing in the 11400 block of Lockwood Drive.

Upon arrival, emergency responders located a man suffering from serious stab wounds. The victim, later identified as Emmanuel Bisudu Sesay, was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment. Despite efforts by medical personnel, Sesay was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Authorities noted that Sesay did not have a known address, and his body has since been transferred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the exact cause and manner of death.


No Suspects Identified Yet

As of now, police have not identified any suspects in connection with the fatal stabbing. The motive behind the attack also remains unclear. Detectives are working to gather evidence from the scene, speak with potential witnesses, and review surveillance footage from the surrounding area.
