Public Assistance Needed to Find Missing Silver Spring Woman

SILVER SPRING, MD — The Montgomery County Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 41-year-old Salem Kibreab, who has been reported missing from the Silver Spring area.

Kibreab was last seen on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, and has not been heard from since. Her family and authorities are increasingly concerned for her well-being.

She is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a red, black, and white sweater.

Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are leading the efforts to locate Kibreab and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
